Bye bye Tokyo (and the increasingly cold weather), hello Southern Hemisphere (and Summer)!

I’ve got to say it’s odd going from Fall heading into Winter, wearing jackets and boots, straight to 80°F over a 10 hour flight. It’s like this year, we’ve managed to totally skip Winter. Which is good! It’s been brutal in the US and we’ve seen the Facebook posts to prove it. Although we both want to somehow snowboard before all of the snow melts back home!

But here we are, down under. One of my first sights is of the seemingly endless supply of beautiful beaches. They are all breathtaking, even from the plane.

We are staying 2 blocks from the ocean on Bondi Beach, which we will stay in for a few months.
